Walrus Little Big Band Charts Series
This is a fun chart in a moderate easy going two beat samba groove in the key of g minor. The tempo should be around 134 BPM for the half note. It is a tenor saxophone feature and also has an open drum solo. The melody and chord changes are easy but it is still a crowd pleaser and can be used on any professional or college jazz concert. Solos can be modified to include any one in the band depending on what the director wants to do .Soloist: Flugelhorn Trumpet highest note C5 (Two octaves above middle C)Instrumentation: alto, tenor, baritone sax, two trumpets, one trombone, piano, bass, and drums (guitar optional).
