An unusual Otone-poem-likeO piece. Written in an Afro-Cuban 12/8 feel, it features the drums throughout as the element that ties it all together. It highlights a great amount of independent non-sectional playing by the ensembe. In addition to drums, soloists include tenor and/or trumpet and trombone.
