A star of music halland cinema for many years, Fields had a big hit with The Biggest Aspidastra In The World in the late 1930s, so he kept it in her repertoire ever after. One of the composers, Tommy Connor, has excellent form as a composer ofnovelty songs as he also penned I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.
