This sonatina consists of three parts, each inspired by a flower. Each part thus refers to a certain emotion, relating to nature. The Forget-me-not: It reminds us not to forget anyone around us. Even those who are the least visible. More specifically, this part also refers to people with dementia. The calm melody of the Lily-of-the-valley depicts a relaxed familiar everyday feeling, such as the love for people you have known and value for a long time. The quick movement of the third part suits the Busy Lizzie. The quick succession of sixteenth notes depicts the impatient seeds flying in all directions, meaning: If you want to achieve something, you have to build it yourself.
