Performance Party books also correlate with each Piano Party book. They provide additional music for the student to play, and help to secure the skills and musical foundation established in the related Piano Party book. By including Music Flashcards for enhanced memory and Practice Party for daily teacher-student-parent communication, plus appropriate supplementary solo sheets and collections (see pages 32-47), you can provide a complete and balanced curriculum that perfectly fits the capability and the imagination of the very young pianist. Book C presents pieces written on the grand staff with an emphasis on reading steps and skips before intervals of 4ths and 5ths are introduced. Slurs, ties, forte, piano, and 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 concepts are mastered. Students read from bass clef low F to treble clef high G in the positions of C, G, F (Group 1), and Middle C position.
