Performance Party Book A

Performance Party books also correlate with each Piano Party book. They provide additional music for the student to play, and help to secure the skills and musical foundation established in the related Piano Party book. By including Music Flashcards for enhanced memory and Practice Party for daily teacher-student-parent communication, plus appropriate supplementary solo sheets and collections (see pages 32-47), you can provide a complete and balanced curriculum that perfectly fits the capability and the imagination of the very young pianist.

Book A introduces the music alphabet, high & low (up & down -- right & left) concepts, finger numbers, white key names, and counting (quarter, two eighths, half, dotted half, and whole notes). Playing black key clusters establishes good hand positions. The book concludes with Middle C pieces in pre-staff notation.
