Improve Your Practice! Piano Beginners

Improve Your Practice! Is the essential companion for pianists, encapsulating Paul Harris's failsafe 'simultaneous learning' approach. This preliminary book in the series features six fun pieces which introduce the idea of 'exploring your piece' to pre-grade 1 pupils. These pieces develop ways of making the most of practice sessions - whatever their length. Most importantly, the wider musical skills of aural, theory, sight-reading, improvisation and composition will develop alongside, resulting in a more intelligent and all-round musician. In addition, there are photocopiable 'Explore Your Piece' pages so that the idea can be used with other music, make-your-own playing cards, a handy practice diary and some useful tips for parents.
