Part 1: "Expression d'un Souvenir d'Impressions" is the composer's response to Stephen Greenblatt's book "The Swerve" (duration 7'15").
Part 2: "Postlude à l'Après-midi d'un Homme" is the composer's homage to Claude Debussy (duration 5'00").
Part 3: "My Once and Future Venus" is the composer's reaction to Lucretius' book "De Rerum Natura" and is dedicated to his Venus, Mia (duration 3'20").
