Fernando Sor

Cendrillon

Ophee tells us that there can be no doubt that Cendrillon was Fernando Sor's most successful work during his lifetime. The three-act ballet ran for a full season in 1822 at the newly rejuvenated King's Theatre in London, more than 100 performances in Paris, and productions across Europe. Sor wrote the piano solo version before leaving London in pursuit of other opportunities on the Continent. This handsome 112-page publication features lay-flat binding.
