Simon Holt began 'a book of colours' in 1988 when asked by the BBC to write a brief piece to commemorate the 80th birthday of Sir William Glock. Beginning with 'Duendecitos', he later added more short works to make a set. Duration 18 minutes. Scored for solo piano.
