This new concert overture, arranged by Tom Myron, features the famous title song, along with Fascinating Rhythm, Little Jazz Bird, So Am I, I'd Rather Charleston and The Half of it Dearie Blues. The style of orchestration in this concert overture is meant to strongly evoke the sounds of pre-War Broadway and Golden Age Hollywood, as well as the colorful styles of the late Romantic and early 20th century classical composers that Gershwin loved.
