Edmund J. Siennicki

3 European Dances

Edmund Siennicki offers this special set of three original dances for either concert strings or strolling strings. Each movement can stand alone as a concert selection, but the set makes a distinctly colorful stylistic treat with smooth segues into each section. 'Fiesta Espanol' is rhythmically and melodically exciting, using the augmented second and 'Carmen-like' figures. 'Waltz Viennese' adds a touch of Strauss-like elegance, while 'Ballet Francaise' is a raucous delight. Students will thoroughly enjoy the vivid color and energy of this fine work.
