A swinging Basie-groove type piece from the Steve Wiest Big Band library. Based on the changes to 'You Stepped Out Of A Dream' the main melody and solos are written for trombone (or treble clef instrument) and bari sax. Solo sections for trombone (or treble clef instrument) soprano sax and drums. Written high G for lead trumpet. Features an exciting Thad Jones/Bob Mintzer style quarter note based on soli for all of the horn sections. Flute double in second tenor, 5 saxes, 8 brass, plus solo trombone and treble clef parts. Recorded on the Arabesque Jazz release Excalibur' The Steve Wiest Big Band.
