Here is one of Artie Shaw's most famous arrangements, Rose Room, as recorded in 1939. This edition is based on the original score and parts and is not a transcription. In addition to clarinet, there is also a trumpet solo. We have included the optional reed backgrounds during the clarinet chorus. These backgrounds were written by Shaw, but not played on the 1939 studio recording. Ranges: Trumpet 1: to C6; Trombone 1: Bb4
