Rich DeRosa, Professor of Jazz Composition at the University of North Texas, has composed a fascinating, brooding, and pensive melody of 'Mixed Emotions.' Set in a very contemporary feel with lush harmonies and reasonable brass ranges (highest note for trumpet is a written B), this flugelhorn feature also includes wonderfully written ensemble passages and will enchant your band and audiences alike.
