Musical influences: The big band writing of Thad Jones, Jimmy Lunceford, Fletcher Henderson (the practice of riffs in early big bands), music of Chick Corea, Joe Henderson and Art Blakey. Part 1 of the Jazz Suite San Jose. Can be performed individually.
