As recorded by the Stan Kenton Orchestra on the CD "Live at the Tropicana," this slow, bluesy piece is a wonderfully understated chart that features an easy-to-play, written piano solo. This is one of those rare Kenton pieces that does not require a lot of high trumpet playing. The trombone section has a wonderful 8-measure soli as does the saxophone section. This chart will make a wonderful contrast piece in your next jazz concert ... OR ..... it also works well as a dance chart. 5-5-5-3 (can be played with less brass)
