David Liebman Series. Comp by David arr by Ed Sarath. A programmatic piece depicting the use of the atomic bomb ending World War II. It involves a bit of rubato and question and answer episodes between the various wind sections with the soloist involved in the rubato give and take. There is a slow 'Elvinish' feeling jazz vamp for the soloist and band to build intensity for the ending.
