A challenging, contemporary modal swing composition, 4th D(imension) is inspired by a book entitled Bold New World. A highly contrapuntal texture is created by the canonic introduction and the 4-voice fugato that serves as a development secction. Open for solos (alto and tenor saxes, trumpet, or piano/guitar) including a drum solo over a vamp. Lead trpt extends to a written Eb. above staff.
