This time signature often alternates with 6/8 and other times signatures, making for some flashy rhythmic syncopation. The jazzy scherzo motionalternates with sections of lyrical beauty. This quartet for saxophone was written by Emmy winner and TV composer Leonard 'Lenny' Stack.
