In memory of Slava komponiert, ist auch dieses Stück anlässlich des Kronberger Cello Festivals im Oktober 2007 in Erinnerung an Mstislv Rostropovitch uraufgeführt worden. Überraschende Wirkung entfaltet das Auftreten der Alt-Blockflöte, die erst relativ spät in das musikalische Geschehen eingreift und so dem Stück eine unkonventionelle, ganz besondere Note verleiht.
