Le Tombeau de Pere Igor or The Tomb of Father Igor is a fabulous Chamber work for Cello, Clarinet and Piano by Karl Aage Rasmussen, one of the most important post-war Danish composers. Manuscript copy. Programme note This piece was suggested to me at visiting the grave of Igor Stravinsky at San Michele, Venezia September 1977. It was written in Rome. The musical material is derived from Stravinsky's 'The Rake's Progress' which was premiered in Venezia, sept. 11 th 1957. Parts available: WH00598
