for Flute/Piccolo, Clarinet and Cello. This trio was based on a short piano piece which the composer wrote as a musical souvenir of a brief trip to Northern Mexico in 2002. While not actually based on any Mexican themes or folk songs, the harmonies and rhythms conjure up images of this wonderful country.
