Gallicinium, Music for the fourth nocturnal vigil for wind quintet, is the last of four compositions whose starting point is the Roman vigils of the church. The harmonies of this work alternate between chromaticism, quartertones, overtone spectra and noise, and explore the sounds of twilight, the night, spheres, dreams, sleeplessness and hallucinations.
