Spectrum for String Quartet is a collection of specially commissioned pieces. Three composers of widely different backgrounds and experience have written works of about eight minutes duration for players of Associated Board Grade 8 Standard.-The three pieces were commissioned by the London String Quartet Foundation as part of its mission to encourage the art of string quartet among the young.
