Hans Zimmer composed this fine score for the film Tears of the Sun, produced in 2003 with lead roles by Bruce Willis and Monica Bellucci. The film is set in Nigeria, during a brutal civil war. It depicts (in Hollywood's cinematic style) the horrific and bloody actions of the militias roaming the country. The music is compelling, however, and can also be performed with choir.
