In the late nineties Phil Collins led his own 'Phil Collins Big Band' for which he arranged his own compositions and this resulted in the famous compact disc 'A Hot Night in Paris'. 'Against all odds' is one of those splendid songs, originally composed as title song for the movie picture of the same name in 1984. In this instrumental version the solo is performed by the alto saxophone. This arrangement is a challenge for any band and a must for every alto saxophonist.
