Waters Ripple And Flow

Every once in a while an arrangement comes along that will be remembered by singers long after they perform it. Jay Althouse's Waters Ripple and Flow, a Czecho-Slovakian folk song, is just that type. Musically rich, with inspirational new words, it's a towering achievement in choral arranging. Destined to become a standard in the choral repertoire. The vocal parts, sometimes full and sometimes soft, flow with liquid lines throughout, and the piano part ripples with terrific melodic contour and harmonic depth, painting a breathtaking musical picture. Excellent for year round use, and consider this one for graduation, too.
