Rihards Dubra

O Radix Jesse

With "O Radix Jesse", Latvian composer Rihards Dubra has created a deeply moving masterpiece for unaccompanied mixed choir (SATB). Setting the traditional Latin text of the Great O Antiphons, the piece captivates with Dubra’s signature spiritual soundscape, seamlessly blending timeless sacred traditions with poignant contemporary harmonies. Originally written especially for Benjamin Nicholas and his choir, this evocative work unfolds a solemn, mystical atmosphere that touches performers and audiences alike. Published by Musica Baltica, this choral score is an exquisite addition to any ambitious sacred repertoire—particularly suited for atmospheric concerts and services throughout the Advent and Christmas seasons.
