Erste volkstümliche Messe

The "Erste volkstümliche Messe" (First Folk Mass), published by Musikverlag Vogt & Fritz, is a deeply moving choral work imbued with profound historical and spiritual depth. Composed in honored memory of Father Alfred Delp, who died as a martyr on Candlemas in 1945, this composition weaves poignant devotion together with an engaging folk-concertante musical style. Scored for mixed choir, the piece captivates both singers and audiences with its expressive melodies and warm harmonies. With an easy to intermediate level of difficulty and a duration of approximately 16 minutes, this score is perfectly suited for festive church services, commemorative events, and sacred choral concerts. An inspiring and melodic masterpiece for any choir.
