Dopo il successo di Christmas a cappella (BA7573), la versatile raccolta di canti natalizi per coro misto, Graham Buckland pubblica ora un volume separato con movimenti per coro femminile. La raccolta spazia dai movimenti tradizionali ai canti popolari e propone le melodie più conosciute di Stati Uniti, Inghilterra, Francia, Germania, Austria, Polonia, Repubblica Ceca e altri Paesi. Sono inclusi brani monofonici e canoni, movimenti tradizionali, ma soprattutto molti nuovi arrangiamenti per due voci femminili, spesso con una terza voce opzionale e sempre con accompagnamento di pianoforte.

L'editore
Graham Buckland è un direttore d'orchestra e compositore che ha studiato a Cambridge, Londra e Brno. È stato direttore d'opera per 20 anni a Praga, Norimberga, Hannover, Oldenburg e Brno. Oggi è direttore musicale universitario a Ratisbona.
