Two Handed Tapping

Whether it's as a show-stopping party-piece or an all-encompassing performance technique, the dazzling art of two-handed tapping is essential for any rock guitarist.

From the earliest days of Van Halen's Eruption, Satriani's Midnight and Day At The Beach, right up to Stanley Jordan and Michael Angelo's fully-integrated styles, the method of right-hand slurring, known as 'Tapping', has opened up brave new worlds of guitar music. The technique allows for spectacular speeds and complex phrase-combinations otherwise impossible to achieve with a standard picking approach, whether you're playing a long legato line or chopping between chord shapes.

On this comprehensive DVD tutorial, guitar-master Stuart Bull provides a step-by-step guide to this incredible technique, from simple one-string scale and arpeggio ideas through to full blown multi fingered taps covering the fretboard. This lesson promises to add speed, fluidity and fire to your stockpile of licks, so dive and get started today!
