Craig Wagner

The Art Of Solo Fingerpicking Guitar

Craig Wagner's unique approach to fingerstyle guitar includes equal amounts of jazz, funk, blues, rock, pop, bluegrass, and country flavourings. He turns the guitar into a whole musical combo with adventurous techniques incorporating two-handed tapping, polyrhythms, walking bass, banjo rolls, exotic chords, and moving inner voices. His forte is composition and arranging. In this video lesson he presents eye-popping reworkings of the jazz standards Caravan and Cherokee, Herbie Hancock's Chameleon and Stevie Wonder's Superstition.

This is a very challenging DVD lesson designed for the advanced fingerstyle guitarist.
