Adolphe-Leopold Danhauser (1835-1896) was a French musician, composer, and pedagogue. His name was oftenGermanised to Dannhäuser. Having been appointed as Professor of Solfeggio at the Paris Conservatory he is best known for his pedagogical works, such as the 1878 text book Théorie de la Musique, but alsocomposedseveral operas and other choral pieces.
