Diese ausdrucksstarke Solokantate, die in einer Fassung für hohe Stimme in der handschriftlichen Sammlung der Staatsbibliothek Berlin aufbewahrt wird und als Fassung für Altstimme in den 'Scherzi musicali' 1698 von Pistocchi veröffentlicht wurde, wird von einem bewegenden Lamento eröffnet, das an Händelsche Kantaten erinnert.
Die Ausgabe für hohe Stimme [e' - g''] - WALHALL340, wurde von Barbara Schlick auf CD (Cavalli-Records, Bestell-Nr. CCD 312) eingespielt. Reihe Seraphic Tunes
