A beautifully flowing piece for High Voice and Guitar. Adapted from Les Chansons Des Roses; a choral cycle based on the poems of Rainer Maria Rilke. Dirait-on is set as a tuneful folksong, that weaves together two melodic ideas first heard in fragmentary form in preceding movements of the choral cycle.
