This title is intriguingly arranged, and listeners and ringers alike should enjoy trying to recognize each tune. Skill is required to successfully combine one and often several hymn tunes simultaneously: William Boyce's 'Alleluia' (used as the passacaglia), 'Lasst Uns Erfreuen' (possibly known as 'All Creatures of Our God and King' or 'Ye Watchers and Ye Holy Ones'), Easter Hymn ('Jesus Christ Is Risen Today'), Handel's 'Hallelujah Chorus', the Welsh hymn tune Hyfrydol and Beethoven's 'Ode to Joy' (or 'Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee'). Dynamics vary throughout, ranging from pp in the beginning to fff at the end. This piece builds in excitement and is a good work for Easter or anyfestive occasion. The title is set in C Major and is 91 measures.
