Luis Pasquet (1917) is an Uruguayan composer who was very active both in the world of jazz and the world of tango. After many peregrinations he returned to his home country in 1970 and founded a chamber music quartet and produced several very popular records. Currently he is living in Helsinki, Finland; this explains the rather odd subtitles Of these Three Grey Tangos: 'Harmaa Tango', 'Kulunut Harmaa' and 'Harmaa Sade'.
