Composed after his long stint as director of 'The President' Own,' the United States Marine Band, this Sousa offering was composed following the St. Louis Exposition of 1893. This well-edited edition is an extremely playable rendition, well within the capabilities of groups from high school to professional levels. Rather than challenging technical demands, the well-articulated parts and researched performance style give an accurate road map for a successful Sousa performance.
