Emmerich Kalman most beloved operetta Die Csardasfürstin had its first performance at the Vienna Johann Strauss-Theater in November 1915. Only in the German speaking countries it was performed 5000 times within the next five years. The waltz song Tanzen möcht ich (a real Viennese waltz) provides a celebration of the love of Sylva and Edwin, the main characters of the operetta. (Soprano, Tenor and Concert Band)
