The incidental music for William Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale was composed for a radio theatre production 1938. Larsson later chose 4 of the 22 musical contributions to be included in a suite titled Four vignettes for Shakespeare's play The Winter's Tale. The suite contains mood shaping parts, dance-like sections as well as the final movement titled Epilogue, one of Lars-Erik Larssons most loved compositions.
