Around the Whiskey Jar è un medley basato su 5 melodie tradizionali irlandesi (Star of the County down, She moved through the fair, Maurice Manley's Polka, Down by the Salley Gardens, What should we do with the drunken Sailor). L'idea del compositore era quella di proporre alcune melodie irlandesi non molto popolari e di ricreare, per quanto possibile, un'atmosfera da taverna irlandese. Il tamburo Bodhran, le parti cantate e le sezioni di violino sono presenti in questo brano per rendere l'atmosfera vivace, genuina e selvaggia. Ehi!
