A Christmas Rose' ist eine Bearbeitung von 'Es ist ein Ros entsprungen', dem Deutschen Weihnachtslied von Michael Praetorius, das ursprünglich 1599 geschrieben wurde. Dieses dramatische Arrangement gibt Ihren jungen Musikern die Möglichkeit, lyrisch und mit ausdrucksstarker Dynamik zu spielen. Wie die verschiedenen Instrumentenfamilien des Orchesters einmal im Mittelpunkt stehen, kann auch jeder einzelne Spieler farbenfroh und lyrisch spielen. Dieses Werk wird ein inniges musikalisches Bild in Ihrem Weihnachtskonzert sein.
'A Christmas Rose' is a setting of 'Lo, How A Rose E'er Blooming,' a German Christmas hymn by Michael Praetorius, originally written in 1599. This dramatic setting gives young musicians an opportunity to play lyrically and with expressive dynamics. As various families of instruments in the band are featured, every player has an opportunity for rich and lyrical playing. This work will provide an intimate musical portrait in your holiday concert.
